Rock On

The Inukshuk at English Bay Beach was originally commissioned for Expo 86, and was on display at the Northwest Territories pavilion. It was later moved to English Bay. Lots of people stack rocks here, presumably inspired by the Inukshuk. And now it’s your turn.

You must submit a picture for each rock you so we can see you build your tower and verify your progress if it falls. A rock only counts if you placed it yourself (i.e. the massive boulders around the beach do not count towards your stack).

You get 50 points for making a reasonable attempt at it at all, and an additional 10 points per rock in your final stack, to a maximum of 150. Every rock incorporated into a stack counts for points (e.g. two stacks joining together like the Inukshuk will count).
